Dr. Steven A. Namdari
Veterinarian
My love for animals started at an early age, growing up surrounded by farm animals. Seeing veterinarians help sick animals recover inspired him to follow the same path. I graduated with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Iran in 2006 and have been caring for animals ever since.
Over the years, I have gained experience in companion-animal medicine, surgery, and emergency care. After moving to Canada, I spent five years working at a University of Toronto research facility, where I was involved in a variety of scientific studies and gained experience working with different species. I later completed my Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) accreditation.
I particularly enjoy caring for dogs and cats, with a special interest in surgery and ophthalmology. I love getting to know my patients and their families and providing compassionate, practical care throughout every stage of their lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing piano, hiking with my furry companion, Lenny, and camping and exploring the great Canadian outdoors with my wife, Maryam.
