Veterinary Assistant
Bonjour à tous! My name is Hatef, and I’m one of the friendly faces you’ll see around the clinic, usually helping the doctors and trying to win over your pets (sometimes with skill, sometimes with treats!).
I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Iran in 2020, where I built a strong foundation in animal health and developed a deep appreciation for the human–animal bond. I’m also currently finishing my PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Université de Montréal (UQTR extension), where I study pain and how it affects the brain and behavior, so if your pet is giving you “that look,” I’m very interested in it both clinically and scientifically!
Since moving to Canada, I’ve continued to grow my clinical experience and learned to speak the beautiful French language during my time in Québec. I have a particular interest in animal behavior and pain management, and I really enjoy being part of a team that cares deeply about making every visit as comfortable as possible for your pet (and for you too!).
In my free time, I enjoy photography, watching movies, and playing chess. I truly appreciate the trust you place in us, and I look forward to meeting you, and earning your pet’s approval!
